He has a lovely wife, two great kids, and a house full of teddy bears that totally put lie to his tough guy image. When no one is looking he's also a drummer in a rock band, and holds black belts in seven different martial arts. His plan is to one day be independently wealthy, or even dependently wealthy--he doesn't really care whose money it is as long as they let him spend it. He has written 5 books to date and plans to write more, unless someone pays him enough to stop.

My favorite author EVER!

Now I know, you are going to say "what are you saying? What about Robert Heinelen, Isaac Asmov, Orson Scott Card, R.A, Salvator, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John? ". Yes, yes, they are all incredible, but Perry just has wit! He is so in tune with the readers, even if I'm the only one! I've been waiting for another in this series for so long. I read Dark side back when it was just a word doc online that I got for free. I emailed Perry, and yes! He answered. What a very nice guy. Seriously. So I read this book hopefully to find many of the same quirky jokes, references, etc. They were all there... Well all except for maybe a Barenaked Ladies or RUSH reference.. But anyway... The book follows our favorite hero in another adventure. James continues to learn in front of our eyes what it means to be an eternal, and we get to watch! All the characters are like family, yes very different, but so beautifully diverse. Perry has such a unique way to tell a story, I cannot imagine that his children go to bed without a story each night... Ok, they may not sleep since they are probably wearing garlic, and using sun lamps, but stories nonetheless!
Thank you Mr. Perry for another wonderful ride in darkside and in this series. Please take a break from saving Canada from bad guys, and write another!!

This author is funny as well as a great story teller, this is an easy read, meaning can just read on and on effortlessly because the books he writes are just written in a way that makes it enjoyable.

FRANK WEBB, a professional artist since 1947, is a Dolphin Fellow of the American Watercolor Society, which he has represented in international exhibitions in Canada, New York, England, Scotland, and Mexico City. A guest instructor in all 50 states, juror, and lecturer, Webb has received over 110 major medals and awards from national competitions, including six from the American Watercolor Society. Collectors of Webb's paintings include National Taiwan Arts Education Center, Baylor University, Palmer Museum of Art at Penn State University, Portland Museum of Art, and South Arkansas Arts Center, to name a few. Webb is featured in Who's Who in American Art and Who's Who in the East, and he is also a member of the Allied Artists of America, Audubon Artists, the Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Association, and many other art associations.

Inspirational for the artist who wishes to grow

Frank Webb is an accomplished and well regarded artist in watercolor and oil, as well as a superb instructor and a clever man with a strong ability to communicate in a clear, concise and often witty manner. The color illustrations are numerous, of good quality and very helpful. The author stresses good composition for all aspiring artists. The authors painting style tends toward a loose impressionism, so those who favor strict representational art (aka illustration) may not like his examples as well as those aspiring to a looser, painterly means of making a visual statement or feeling.

If you like his 1960-70's loose style, this is a classic. May not help you to become a better watercolor painter but will likely inspire you to get your paints and brushes out.

Worth adding to library

This is a well written book which teaches some concepts art students are taught. However, I never attended art school, and some things are in more depth than I wanted. Saying that, it is worth going through quickly and revisiting areas pertinent to a current project. My watercolor instructor who is a "real artist" says the most important thing to do is to paint and not worry about the concepts.
This artist has many abstract works and some realistic but all very effective. It may be one of the more helpful books to own.

real news not fit to print

You can either read the New York Times and the likes and bury your head in the safety of the sand or you can open your mind and read books that challenge what the mainstream media spoon-feeds us everyday.
This gentleman has done his research and has helped me to fill in many of the blanks. The dichotomy between what we read in the mainstream news and what is often really happening is getting wider and wider as the web is spurn thicker and thicker, and successively newer lies are told to cover up previous lies.

Most folk cant handle this of course. They just want to live their regular lives, raise kids, go on vacation, be entertained, and be able to afford gas in their SUVs.

A Very Important Book!

There is a lot going on in the world that people are unaware of. The "world stage" with its nations has been well-defined for a long time, but over the years transnational banking and industrial interests have used debt to enslave the national powers and enact a global agenda far more sinister than any government could perpetrate. As with most "conspiracies", there is some false information as well. Most people point to the false information in a thing and use that to explain the whole thing away, but there is a lot of important information in here which you will not find elswhere.

The author has been the recipient of awards for this book, including the 2005 annual Frontier Award in the Netherlands. It is interesting how people in other countries always seem to know more about many past and current events than we do. Read this book and you will understand why!

It confirmed for me the importance of getting all sides of history. This was written from European study and gave great insight into events that I already knew or suspected but was never taught because of the need to know of Americans coloring their history and cutting truth out of the history books.

El libro es un material muy completo para todo aquel que tiene experiencia en Negocios y para aquellos que apenas empiezan, me gustan los ejemplos que el Sr. Hollis da acerca de como comenzo, su testimonio personal fue lo que a mi b�sicamente me enrolo a la compa��a donde comenc� en el mercadeo en red en USA, la documentaci�n es tan importante, ademas de quitarnos del camino y promover a otros lideres documentados como Robert Hollis. Tienes que leer el libro!!!!! y p�salo a todos tu lideres!! esto te ahorrara mucho tiempo de ense�anza a tu gente. Los principios tan sencillos como el de ser un "filtro" y el de el ejemplo de la Par�bola del Sembrador (Jes�s) nos ense�an que no todas las personas est�n dispuestas a comenzar un negocio, ya que no todos son tierra f�rtil.
